In the 1960s, scuba diving was a new and exciting pursuit that took the world of water sports by storm. Breitling launched the Slow Motion model to give divers the most clear-cut diving watch, eliminating any feature that didn’t support their lifesaving needs underwater.
The new Superocean pays homage to the Slow Motion’s design codes – clean lines, chunky luminescent indexes, and a high-contrast dial ring – with the addition of modern features such as a ceramic-inlayed bezel and brightly coloured dials. Nostalgia gets a fresh new look.

Framed by a bi-directional bezel with a patented bezel lock, the vibrant dial features the brand’s iconic yellow, as well as broad hands and luminescent indexes to ensure easy readability underwater.
Designed for water-sports enthusiasts, the stainless steel bracelet fastens with a folding clasp that allows for micro-adjustments of up to 15mm for easy wear over wetsuits. This high performance watch is also water resistant , as well as being shock, sand, and saltwater resistant.
