Absolutely love this watch. I love horses too. I love this watch. I have some horses and they don't look stylish enough, so I used up all my life savings for this. I don't regret it one bit. Every time someone comes over to my house, I show them my horses, and they can't believe it. I make them want a horse. This watch is not too good on people. Put it on your horses wrist. When I sold the family farm to some city slicker for 1.8 million clams I immediately turned around and bought the Submariner. I figured "hey, this is a great watch!" and oh boy was I right! I couldn't imagine living on $2/day when I'm over here wearing the GDP of Somolia on my wrist. If you want friends and you have a vault of money nothing brings the lambs to slaughter quite like the Submariner. Buy one for yourself and one for a Somolian. Think of the children. Best watch I've ever purchased! Got a great deal from a Rolex authorized dealer in Cincinnati. I'm an avid watch guy, but after buying the 116613, nothing compares! This is a serious watch! I use to buy Invicta's and other watches that looked like the submariner, now that I have the real thing, they look like JUNK! Don't waste your time on knock offs get the real thing! R&P in downtown Cincy has excellent service and is the place to get it. The weight and look of this watch is great, it is really a big boy watch. Despite the bad reviews by people who cant afford this watch and are jealous of those who can, this is the ultimate Man's watch. The color (Blue dial in this case) is irrelevant. I bought an F series new in 2004 and have worn it every day for the past 11 and a half years with the exception of the two weeks when it went in for its 7 year service. It is both a piece of art, I feel this is the single most purely beautiful watch ever made. but it is also a functional tool, mechanically speaking, and it will never let you down. Rain, shine, EMP, nuclear blast, zombies, this watch and cockroaches will be the last things to survive the apocalypse. In the intervening decade the price tag on this has doubled, from $6700 in 2004 to $12k today, but one thing is for sure, over the long run they hold their value pretty well. You can tell time with your cell phone, but if you want something of substance, something that will always get compliments, and make you smile, this is the watch (Posted on 29/10/2017)

I've owned more expensive watches in my day. When I received this watch, it was the most beautiful watch I've ever owned or warn on my wrist.
