I like the size. I thought it would be bigger but happy it wasn't. The only trouble with it is the little magnifying window that shows the date is so tiny I can barely read the date. haven't gotten it wet yet. I am an avid kayaker and do get splashed and water runs down my paddle onto my hands, so I'll let you know if it is truly water resistant once I test it out.
