I bought an F series new in 2004 and have worn it every day for the past 11 and a half years with the exception of the two weeks when it went in for its 7 year service. It is both a piece of art, I feel this is the single most purely beautiful watch ever made. but it is also a functional tool, mechanically speaking, and it will never let you down. Rain, shine, EMP, nuclear blast, zombies, this watch and cockroaches will be the last things to survive the apocalypse. In the intervening decade the price tag on this has doubled, from $6700 in 2004 to $12k today, but one thing is for sure, over the long run they hold their value pretty well. You can tell time with your cell phone, but if you want something of substance, something that will always get compliments, and make you smile, this is the watch
