Lets just say that I..... fall short in other places that normally impress the ladies. Well not anymore! Divorced my wife and sold my daughter to some nice Russian men. Got 150 k for her! I bought the Yachtmaster II for what is likely the most common reason to purchase this watch: I wanted to be the master of my Yacht, for a second time. I am also an owner of the original Yachtmaster and have worn in on countless voyages as I braved the waves of the Atlantic to the far reaches of the Arctic Ocean. I expected some improvement with the Yachtmaster II, or at the very least some reasonable continuity of nautical mastery, but was disenchanted by the pitfalls which fell upon me subsequent to making this purchase. The watch is beautiful, functional, and stylish. 18k solid Gold with the enamel blue bezel really sets it in a class by itself. It's an automatic movement so you will need a watch winder to keep it in motion at all times. No magnification bubble on this Rolex. The red, white, and blue motif is a stunning eye catcher. Price is relative to your income. You probably give to several charities if you own this watch so wear with little guilt. It is an investment since the watch price has risen and fallen with the fluctuation of GOLD on the commodity market. Buy a car or buy a watch. It feels good to be able to chose. The Yachtmaster II has a practically unbreakable sapphire crystal. The case is built like a gilded tank. It is waterproof, crush proof, and if properly cared for, should last forever. Much like the golden idols found in Egypt after thousands of years, this golden idol will signal to future generations that I had a bunch of money once, and I knew what to do with it.
