It is not quite as accurate as my Swatch. The Swatch gains about 2 seconds a month and the battery is very easy to change. Also the band is flexible and therefore, when my wrist has swollen a little in the late afternoon, the band still feels comfortable. I have to set the Rolex band a little loose to start with in the morning and, because the watch is so heavy, it bounces around on my wrist when I use an ax or a hammer. I find it convenient to wear a wristwatch when I am using the sextant because I can look at the time when observing the altitude of the sun. May I humbly make two suggestions: Make the watch lighter and more accurate like an electronic movement with an easily to change battery, something I can do myself and do not have to visit a watchmaker. It is also a nuisance to have to bring the watch to a watchmaker to have it cleaned every few years and then Rolex keeps it for several month to "re-calibrate"
