I have had my Rolex Datejust for about 25 years. It is, of course, a classy watch, and I wear it for special occasions. But don't buy one because it keeps great time. Like all mechanical watches, a Rolex can lose or gain up to ten seconds a day. Extreme accuracy -- especially in this day of digital timepieces - is not a reason to own a Rolex. Some would say that there is no good reason to own one, and they may have a point.
