These are great watches and you'll never loose a dime because they increase in value every year. If you're looking for a fantastic watch this is it. Several others to consider which are less money but of equal quality and build are the Omega Seamaster and the Breitling Superocean. Have both and wouldn't put one over the other. The Rolex has the WOW factor because it's a Rolex but the others actually keep better time and are of the same build quality at half the price. (Posted on 22/11/2017)

I have had my Rolex Datejust for about 25 years. It is, of course, a classy watch, and I wear it for special occasions. But don't buy one because it keeps great time. Like all mechanical watches, a Rolex can lose or gain up to ten seconds a day. Extreme accuracy -- especially in this day of digital timepieces - is not a reason to own a Rolex. Some would say that there is no good reason to own one, and they may have a point. (Posted on 22/11/2017)
