Despite still within the warranty period, Panerai is claiming I abused it and wants to charge me $1400 for repairs. I honestly did not abuse my watch. Furthermore I have other watches owned for a longer period of time and have never abused them (Rolex, Invicta, Seiko, Stuhrling, etc.)nor have they broken down. Had I known Panerai was needed to be handled with kid's glove, I would never have bought it. Future buyers beware!!!
