Panerai Radiomir Firenze PAM604 Black Dial Roman Numerals Engraved Stainless Steel Case Black Leather Strap
Product Review (submitted on 29 October 2017):
I own a similar PAM00233 Luminor 1950 GMT with 8-day power reserve. The first few months were bliss, but then the watch stopped working. I sent it to Panerai for service in mid-December 2012 - I have yet to receive the watch, and Panerai cannot tell me what's wrong, or when they'll repair and return the watch. All I can say is they'd better (i) not charge me and (ii) offer me a 1 or 2-year warranty on the repair. I am very disappointed. I've owned Rolex, Patek, BlancPain and other luxury watches and really looked forward to the Panerai. It was simple, rugged and very functional. Until it broke. After 6 months. And I babied that watch the entire time. I'm to the point that I'll probably just trade it in as soon as I get it back. Done with Panerai. I still have a Rolex that I received as a family gift in 1972. It's been repaired multiple times - I used it, I passed it to my Mom, who eventually gave it to my wife as a wedding present, who eventually gave it to my daughter when she turned 12. Still works great. I've had a Patek since 1974 that is still going strong. BlancPain apologized profusely after my Lemans GMT broke after 14 months, they quickly repaired it and gave me a 2-year warranty - plus they kept me informed every step of the way. Panerai? Stopped ticking after 6 months. And all I've heard from their repair shop is radio silence. Inexcusable!
