Beautiful watch. I was thinking the Seamaster 300 vs Planet Ocean, was concerned about the thickness of the Planet Ocean and am glad I went with the Seamaster as it is as thick as I would want. Good time and have not needed a winder with every day use. Happy I bought it. (Posted on 16/11/2017)
I can say I would take this without hesitation over the new SubC and it has (at least for now) relegated my older Sub to the closet. The Jaeger Tribute to Deepsea and Blancpain Fifty Fathoms are very similar looking; they obviously have a rarity factor that the Omega doesn't, but I'm not sure they're better watches, espeiclaly when you look at things like the 8400s unique co-axial technology and 15,000 gauss anti-magnetic protection. Throw in a not insignificant price difference and it was an easy call for me. (Posted on 16/11/2017)
Love it! As with many i too was skeptical about buying a high-end watch from amazon but I finally pulled the trigger and got it. The watches are authentic, at least from Watchmaxx, or they sure know how to make fake ones really really well to even fool an authorized dealer! My advice is to go look at whatever watch you want at an authorized dealer's shop first. Watches look way better in person than in pictures. Also go get it resized at an authorized dealer. The screws are loctited so they will use an ultrasonic heat whatchamathingy to loosen them up. The first person tried to resize for me but broke her tool. She then called their Omega person over and he was able to do it by using this machine. (Posted on 16/11/2017)
