Paying homage to the work of the Cousteau Society and its mission to protect marine life, this IWC Aquatimer Chronograph Edition 'Jacques-Yves Cousteau' Men’s Watch is designed to meet the unique demands of deep-sea timekeeping.
Powered by 70320-calibre, automatic self-winding movement, this high performance timepiece features a mechanical rotating bezel with innovative SafeDive system, water resistance to 300 metres and push buttons that can be utilised under the water.
The design also takes inspiration from the ocean, with a mystical blue dial complete with chronograph complications, day and date display and sapphire glass lens with anti-reflective coating.
Optimised for diving, the watch fastens with a black rubber strap with the IWC-patented, quick change system.
Engraving to the back of the 44mm stainless steel case depicts Jacques-Yves Cousteau wearing his trademark beanie, while IWC donates proceeds from the sale of this special-edition timepiece to support the aims of the Cousteau Society.
Allowing divers to explore the ocean with confidence, the Aquatimer family draws on over 50 years’ experience in the development and production of professional diver’s watches.
