Drawing on over 50 years’ experience in the development and production of professional diver’s watches, the Aquatimer family has been designed to meet the needs of those who love exploring the depths of the ocean.
Paying tribute to Charles Darwin’s spirit of discovery, this IWC Aquatimer Chronograph Edition “Expedition Charles Darwin” Men’s Watch has a truly unmistakable character.
The first model in the brand’s history to feature a bronze case, this ground-breaking timepiece offers a reverent nod to HMS Beagle – the ship that carried Darwin to the Galapagos Islands.
The black dial features bronze tone, luminescent hands and indices, which perfectly complement the 44mm bronze case, as well as a date display, chronograph complications and an anti-reflective, sapphire glass lens.
Designed to keep accurate and reliable time even in the depths of the ocean, this remarkable timepiece is equipped with 89365-calibre automatic movement, a 68 hour power reserve, rubber coated push buttons, water resistance to 300 metres and the SafeDive system.
Secured with a reliable black rubber strap, the watch is completed with a portrait of Darwin himself engraved on the back of the distinctive case.
