Be sure to get the model with the ceramic bezel, makes a huge difference in durability.

I had always thought of Rolex as too main stream and boring until I tried on the Submariner.

I get compliments on my watch weekly and I can't help but wear it all the time! Especially at the pool or the beach, since it's a diver... haha.

Have this watch and it is truly stunning. Bought it because I love the color scheme and the "chunky" feel to it. It' like a little shiny tank. It's worth reading up on the company and their impressive history as well. I don't flaunt the timepiece when I wear it but it has caught the attention of some rather interesting people who've engaged me in conversation, and know/appreciate the brand. If you drop this amount of money on a watch, just make sure to know a little background about the company and their history. Don't be "that guy" who buys it to show off how much he can spend and look like an simpleton when you are asked about it. I am thrilled at the purchase of this watch. I bought one for myself and subsequently purchased one for each of my 7 brothers. The watch is always there to tell me what time it is. It's my favorite watch and it can be both a daily wearer (although the bezel scratches easily) or worn dressed up in a suit. No one knows what watch this is (except for the occasional watch enthusiast or watch boutique employee) and that's just the way I like it. The bracelet is quite shiny and eye catching but they have no idea what this watch is. If you want an iconic watch that flies somewhat a bit under the radar, this is the one to get.
