It is both a piece of art, I feel this is the single most purely beautiful watch ever made. but it is also a functional tool, mechanically speaking, and it will never let you down. If you are looking for a watch, go get a Casio, if you want a luxury timepiece get ! I've gotten more compliments on mine over the past 4 years that it is hard to even think about counting. I just bought the wife a two tone, diamond bezel and face ladies a few weeks ago. (Posted on 06/11/2017)

Boy, awesome looking watch and lot's of extra's, yet easy to set initial startup. Yes, a little heavy, but not too much once wearing. I'm use to Seiko's kenetic, this solar is a bit bulkier. But, don't that deter you. At 2:00am with the eliminating hands, I can still read the time. Haven't tried the alarm feature, or the stopwatch yet. All in it's own time.
