as inexpensive mechanical watches go, invicta is probably about as good as you can get if you want to avoid the pretty vanilla offerings of seiko . . . supposedly invicta uses japanese [seiko?] mechanical movements -- which are streets ahead of the nasty chinese jobs usually found in low price mechanical timepieces . . . the watch is attractive -- designed to replicate a rolex submariner -- and works well [at least so far]
